Lights of Hope Luminaire Bag Decorating Event

What if we told you that you can truly make a difference in the fight against cancer? And, what would you think if we told you that you can make this difference while honoring people impacted by cancer in a powerful way?

Here is how you can do both!

On September 12, 2017, ACS CAN will making our voices heard and light up the Washington Memorial Reflecting Pool with HOPE from across the country.

Lights of HOPE is an American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) event that honors loved ones who have fought cancer and survived and remembers those who lost the battle with lighted bags that will line the Lincoln Memorial  Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C.

You can honor and remember a loved one with a bag you decorate to that will join over 20,000 other bags for Lights of HOPE.

The Lights of HOPE event will take place on Tuesday, September 12th, during the annual ACS CAN Advocacy Leadership Summit and Lobby Day. At dusk the bags will be lit and line the U.S. Capitol Reflecting Pool while survivors, caregivers and lawmakers reflect and give remarks.

A $10 donation per bag enables ACS CAN to continue its mission to make cancer a national priority with legislators in Washington, D.C.
