ACS CAN 2017 Lobby Day in Cheyenne

You're invited to join ACS CAN volunteers and advocates from across the state at our annual Day at the Capitol in Cheyenne on January 27, 2017. Your elected officials need to hear from you! Your story can make a huge difference for cancer patients and all Wyoming residents.

This year's lobby day will include an in-depth training session to help you navigate Wyoming's legislative process, understand our top legislative priorities, and be an effective advocate for cancer issues. No prior experience or training is necessary. You will have the opportunity to meet with your legislators and let them know why these cancer issues are important to you.

We will also be hosting a press conference regarding legislation regarding palliative care and improving the quality of life of cancer patients and caregivers, as well as other chronically ill patients. We are joining with the Wyoming Cancer Coalition to discuss palliative care and how it can benefit Wyoming cancer patients.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided at no charge to registered attendees.
