Montana Palliative Care Improvment Act

Palliative care is specialized medical care for people with serious illnesses. This type of care is focused on providing patients with relief from the symptoms, pain, and stress of a serious illness – whatever the diagnosis.

ACS CAN supports state legislation that would create a statewide taskforce to assess how Montana healthcare facilities can make palliative care more available to patients with serious illness.
