AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CANCER ACTION NETWORK FLORIDA POLICY FORUM ON CLINICAL TRIALS

On Tuesday, August 29th, the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) will host a policy forum at Mayo Clinic in Florida to explore developments in clinical trials. ACS CAN endeavors to both raise awareness and help create better access to clinical trials, particularly among more diverse populations, and we will use these discussions to help answer the following:

• What type of clinical trials are happening in Florida?
• What are the benefits of having access to clinical trials for Floridians?
• How do we improve access to clinical trials, particularly among ethnic minorities?
