THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY CANCER ACTION NETWORK

The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network (ACS CAN) is the nation's leading advocacy organization working everyday to make issues facing cancer patients a national and state priority.

Conquering cancer is as much a matter of public policy as it is scientific discovery. The past ten years have seen significant improvements in the way we diagnose and treat cancer, but our work is far from over. Whether it is increasing cancer research and prevention funding or improving access to health coverage, ACS CAN protects the needs of patients and families, working to ensure that our innovation ecosystem remains strong and everyone has the access to care they need to prevent, detect, and fight cancer.

Now in its 10th year, the annual ACS CAN New England Research Breakfast brings together more than 250 leaders from business, life sciences, and healthcare who come together to support ACS CAN’s efforts to fight cancer on Beacon Hill, Washington D.C., and in state capitols across the country.
