2008 ACS CAN Voter Guide Program
It's about accountability.
ACS CAN has asked both of the major party candidates for President and candidates in federal and state races from around the country to tell us very specifically where they stand on our high priority cancer issues. Beyond just answering "yes" or "no", we asked the candidates to tell us what they will do to make cancer a national priority on a variety of important, lifesaving issues.
Do they support more funding for cancer research?
Are they ready to work toward meaningful health care reform?
These voter guides will also be critical after the election. Together, hundreds of thousands of ACS CAN volunteers in congressional districts across the nation will hold our elected officials accountable, asking if their votes were consistent with their answers on the ACS CAN voter guide.
Together, we will make cancer a national priority.
