Taking part in ACS CAN's legislative campaigns on the national, state and local level is fun and easy to do. There are activities and issues that we focus on year-round, and you can help to lead our campaigns to victory. During the month of September we are working with our volunteers to create an online “National Family Album” with photos and stories from cancer survivors about how research has affected them. You can participate simply by taking a moment to upload your photo — and, if you'd like, download our ACS CAN sign, fill in the name of who you advocate for, and take your picture with it. The album will be presented to Congress at our annual ACS CAN Leadership Summit and Lobby Day being held September 26-29 in Washington, DC. Showcase your support - Take action today! Then help us spread the word throughout your social networks, family and friends so they can take action too. For help or more information, contact your Eastern Division (New York and New Jersey) Advocacy Team at eaadvocacymail@cancer.org.
