Taking part in ACS CAN's legislative campaigns on the national, state and local level is fun and easy to do. There are activities and campaigns that we focus on year-round, and you can help to lead our campaigns to victory. If so, consider becoming a member of our group, American Cancer Society Eastern Division Advocacy. We are New York and New Jersey volunteers and staff working to reduce the burden of cancer through legislative change. Our facebook group is designed to help you engage your online friends in our efforts encouraging lawmakers and candidates to support laws and policies that will help make cancer a top priority in our two states.
