Taking part in ACS CAN's legislative campaigns on the national, state and local level is fun and easy to do. There are activities and campaigns that we focus on year-round, and you can help to lead our campaigns to victory. Here are two activities you can do in February to keep you and your fellow advocates engaged in our campaigns. Support our nationwide petition drive calling on Congress to take immediate action on health care reform. The petitions will be delivered to Members of Congress on Capitol Hill and in district offices during the spring recess. You can help by promoting the campaign in a variety of ways, including through email, Twitter and Facebook.Work with your Advocacy staff partner to order and deliver daffodils to your elected leaders. Be sure to include a personal note about our legislative priorities and the significance of Daffodil Days in the fight against cancer. For help or more information, contact your Eastern Division (New York and New Jersey) Advocacy Team at eaadvocacymail@cancer.org.
