August Recess for Members of Congress runs from August 3 to September 4. This is the perfect time to talk to your Member about our campaign to reform our nation's health care system. The following materials should help you get started in planning your recess activities: Educate and inform your Member of Congress using these Congressional outreach materials. Just print them out to create a "leave behind" packet of information about our health care reform priorities. The Four A's with Stories here>>> Submit a letter to the editor or op-ed to your local paper about why we need real health care reform now. Use our health care reform mobilization kit at parades, picnics and other public events to generate grassroots support for health care reform. Ask local businesses to sign on in support of health care reform using these materials.
