Nebraska Lobby Day 2012
A new year brings new opportunities to fight back against cancer. In order to pass significant cancer legislation in the State of Nebraska this year, we need your help.
On Monday, February 6, 2012, your American Cancer Society will be hosting our annual Nebraska State Lobby Day at the Cornhusker Hotel at 8:00 am. This event allows our great volunteers an opportunity to tell their elected officials how cancer has affected their lives and discuss the need to make cancer a top priority. Through our advocacy efforts over the past ten years, we have saved thousands of lives and created a world with more birthdays. And while we have made significant strides in passing cancer prevention and treatment legislation, we all recognize there is still much work left to be done. We need Nebraskans from all across our state to speak up and have their voice be heard. I hope you will be able to join us on February 6th.
