Medicaid Expansion Celebration

To date there are now over 52,000 previously uninsured Marylanders enrolled into the expanded Medicaid program - doubling what the state had predicted, and taking Maryland from 44th in the nation to 16th for Medicaid coverage!

A huge credit goes to our partners at Health Care For All. Since the release of HCFA's radio ad with Governor O'Malley and Chris Samuels of the Washington Redskins about the Medicaid expansion in October, HCFA has been taking the message across the state. So far they have held 9 press conferences to highlight the progress in each region of Maryland, and we still have more stops to make.
