Volunteers Meet with Congressman Hoyer
On May 23, volunteers Sue Lyddon-Hayes and Georgette B. Gaskin met with Congressman Steny Hoyer (CD-5) at the Air Show in Southern MD. Volunteers discussed the importance of quality, affordable, accessible health care for all American and stressed how critical access to care is for diagnosing and treating cancer. 180 petitions to urge the Maryland General Assembly to create a Maryland Cancer Treatment Program were collected.
