Governor Signs Budget/Research Reauthorization Legislation
Great news from Tallahassee...this afternoon Governor Crist signed the FY 2010-11 state budget, with no line item vetoes impacting the recent legislative session's record level of $159.5 million in cancer-related appropriations. Additionally, he signed legislation (HB 5311) that includes statutory reauthorization of King Biomedical Research Program and the Bankhead-Coley Cancer Research Program.
